Yeah. It's taking up waaaaayyyy too much time. lol.
Everytime I adjust something, I'm faced with a 3-4 hour print to figure out whether it was a worthwhile change.
And the next part is going to be even more tricky. Each track section had to be split into three parts for printing because my build area just isn't enough to handle it all :(
So, we will see how that goes...

    Update.
Finally managed to figure out how to get the track to work. This is part one of the four track sections done and he's really taking shape now.
It sits a little broader than I originally wanted but I like it and it is making him just look massive.
I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
    Genesis' transformation continues to evolve.

This is just amazing work. Any thoughts on redesigning a bigger head to help match the "increased" size

    Thank you.
It's funny you asked that. I did have that thought already.
If I do it, I'd also like to incorporate a visor too. So, I may give it a go :)

finished the second set of track tonight.
So, Omega now has his 'wings'.
There are still 2 parts of the track to finish and after they're done, I should be able to set up a semi complete base mode.
Here he is taking orders from OP with Bumblebee at his side.

Created an alternate connector piece for the tracks that brings them in a bit.
    Looks better I think.

I'm glad you didn't bring them back in too much. I liked them spread out because it emphasized his size. This is great as is.

he does look epic, i prefer the V1 but this is nothing to sneeze at and it does clean up the proportions a little.

Decided to have a go at beefing up Omega’s guns before doing the last 2 tracks.

How much would all this plastic cost? It makes me question shapeways prices

Shapeways is very expensive. But, they provide a certain kind of service that works for many people.
If you can get a printer and some filament, you will make your money back if you're doing a lot of designing.
I buy a spool of filament for $25.

These parts for Omega are burning through a lot of plastic but I still haven't used a whole spool yet on this project. It's probably cost me about $15 of plastic so far.
