I haven't decided how I could do this. Unfortunately, these are big prints and take about 3 hours per piece (there are 10 pieces just in these leg sections).
I'll keep you posted if I come up with something that'll work.

Merry Christmas Omega Supreme. You have fully functional and extended legs...with feet.
    Hurrah.
    Shin guards next.

Thanks everyone, for the comments so far. This is a great project to work on and it's awesome to be able to recycle such a good figure (Genesis) to make him work within the expanded CHUG/CW/TR/POTP (phew...Think we need a new acronym). Lol.
I've finished the shin guards now.
Here is Titan Omega facing off against Devastator.
Next, I need to design a couple more clips for the back of each leg.
The shin guards and the clips will be used to hold the track in place in alt mode.

I finished the clips for the back of the legs.
So, today, I decided to digitally mock up what the base mode will look like with just the printed parts.
My original plan was to have the sentry guns attach to the track but I might actually just leave them as floaters, so they can be positioned wherever fits.
The leg clips will hold parts of the track together and act as futuristic towers or something like that :)
Stock Genesis can obviously function without any of these add on parts. So, in base mode, Genesis could also still be in robot form, or his space ship, or the rocket and launch pad (which would complement the base and add more G1 to the pot).
    Anyway, here it is...

That works. Or they could lie flat sticking outwards from the track and be some kind of 'on-ramp' design, or seismic ground sensors, or something of that nature. Depends on what you want to be able to push around the track while making tank noises. :)

    First update in little while.
That's because the part I was working on was not easy.
I picked up an electronic measuring device and that has made a step change in accuracy for parts that have tight tolerances. It was still really difficult getting the design of this part correct though because the shape it needs to fit around is actually really complex.
Anyway, the new part, and first test print fit perfectly.
It's a backpack add on that the track will attach to in Armored up robot mode.
It was a 3 and a half hour print :/
    But worth it :)

Both back adaptors have been printed now.
I need to make a few minor adjustments for perfect fit but they're pretty much complete.
The extra width on his back actually improves his aesthetic even more.

Does make his legs look a bit skinny, but he certainly looks a hell of a lot better than the stock model! Such a beast now. :D

This looks like a minor update but I actually did quite a bit of redesigning of the backpack for extra detailing, better fit and a perch for Genesis' extra tank drone.
I think this is the final version and now I'm moving on to the tank tracks.
