Would Michael Bay put Omega in the movie and what would he look like.
Noobs... Look what they do.
And no, doubt it. If he was, expect him to turn out like Devatator.
Hopefully he will and hopefully Omega Supreme will look like a Movieverse version of himself from Animated.
This. Omega Supreme's appearance in "A Bridge Too Close" proves that a character can still have a crowning moment of awesome with very little screentime.
Now just transplant that scene into TF3, replace "space bridge" with "Unicron", and my fantasies about this movie are just about set!
I gave up hoping for certain characters, and I'd encourage those who still think like this to do the same. Any character from another series, especially an oldschool one, showing up in the new movieverse will not be what you envision, no simple olden design with a slight Bayformers twist. A complete rehaul is likely in order leaving only the smallest of tags in play for semblance to the previous incarnation, like Ratchet, Jazz or Devastator.
If the story possibly shifts some of the focus back on Cybertron, I could see him showing up. The Autobots would need some way to get back there.
Plus, they could have him fight Devastator or some other combiner.
It would be greater if it turned out that omega was a disciple of Unicron's and decided to turn away resulting in the autobots finding a smoldering crater a few miles huge with a large robot inside
I would love to see Omega Supreme in the 3rd movie. I don't know about Devastator, he was destroyed by the US Navy.
If they could make it work storywise, I'm all for it.
no...michael bay would not because he is the world's biggest fucking douche and look how bad they fucked up devastator....jesus...that turned out to be a robotic abortion at birth...toy sold like crap too....
not in the #'s they would like...it went on clearance to move it in many many places...
The toy not selling is more Hasbro's fault than Bay's. If Hasbro would have made the $100 Devastator set have fully transformable components I would have picked one up. But they didn't, they only had vehicle and Devastator modes.
It wouldn't be able to pass drop tests.
And if they DIDN'T release a Supreme Devastator, people will whine about it the same way they did about Omega Supreme.
at least you correctly realized that was a collaborative effort, your opinions nonwithstanding.
If OS will be in the TF3. I hope when he transforms into his robot mode for the first time in the film, he will say "I AM OMEGA SUPREME!!!"
I do like me some Omega Supreme, but I don't see him being in the Bayverse.
And, personally, I ended up liking ROTF Devs. It seemed a little more true to form than a bipedal, stiff green and purple humanoid. This comes from a guy who remembers begging his grandmother to try to take him to find the original Devastator components in the store in the 80s.
Don't want him. Let's nail character interaction, threat, and kickass abilities of normal size bots before we try giant bots again. The budget didn't allow Devs to do much in ROTF, and Omega is only good if he has a huge threat to take on. I'd rather they save that money and budget more bots interraction, bigger fight scenes, and some scenes with the Decepticons kicking ass, not just the Autobots getting the best fight scenes.
One thing that made the first Spiderman good was the the villian (green Goblin) had scenes where he kicked ass tooo, not just the hero.
Its a michael bay film,No story is needed.
