took my original omega out of storage this weekend... when i picked him up about 10 years ago he worked but just walked with one leg... as of yesterday when i put batteries in him he is dead... there is no corrosion on the electronics... does anyone on this site offer a repair service... or can someone point me in the right direction thanks

Unfortunate circumstances brought you here but i must say Welcome to the boards. I gotta ask did you try more than 1 set of batteries?

Wow that really does suck than. I cannot help you repair it sadly but i know some of the board members especially the customizers are good with electronics so maybe someone knows how to fix him.

You could always buy an encore one for about $110-$120 and do a swap of internals. Not ideal but it does exist, you would know that your getting new parts vs buying an older one off ebay for parts.

how long did you leave the switch in the "on" position for? Did you store it with batteries installed?

    Go to the hardware store.
    Buy a cheap multimeter.
    Learn to use it.
Find out if there is a bad connection. Wire, switch etc.
    Else the motor is busted.
    Get a new one.
