OLED- nice, but not amazing

    I am getting heartbroken. since around 1998, I had heard that tv tech was getting so advanced that we were gonna have tv's on our wrists.
    (really, there is technology that puts images on a screen as thin as a roll of film.)
    but 10 years later, and we get this...this?
    "wafer-thin"? look again. the screen is thin, but i doubt it is lightweight.
    and almost 3 grand for a tv that isn't even HD? (better than dvd, but not 1080p)

    i dunno, i just see a crank yanker in this one.

    Well, while it's not a tv I have an OLED MP4 playing watch which is pretty cool.
    I think I read that most of the potential manufucturers of OLED screens have backed away from the technology - it's not cost effective to make and there are other cheaper ways to make thin screens around the corner.
