Was wondering if you really are as old skool as you think, so what are the oldest games you still play from time to time?
    here's my 5:

1.Zork. Yep, the old text game still is fun and i use it to kill time before work, or when i am stuck at a computer lab somewhere. (it fits on a flash drive.)

    2. Legend of Zelda (NES)- am starting it up again- am on the 6th dungeon, first quest.

    3. Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (PS1) still rocks my socks.

    4. Sword of Vermillion (Genesis) not great, but not exactly Rubik's Cube, i like it.

    5. Sam and Max Hit the Road- the best point and click style game i know. jokes never get old, either.

Well, I still have an NES hooked up to a TV in the basement. Whenever the Misses is watching something uber-girly, I head on down there and play it. So of the games I have, here are the 5 I play the most.

    1. Tecmo Super Bowl
    2. Super Mario 3
    3. Mike Tyson's Punchout
    4. Double Dragon 2
    5. Contra

The number one "old" game I play the most is X-Com. It's not as ancient as most games on this list, but I can still play it to no end. Also play original Contra fairly often with friends.

Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Galaga, Tempest and Defender are the oldest that solicit my time on a semi-regular basis.

When I had a NES emu on my PSP I enjoyed the Castlevania's, and Mega Man 2 quite a bit.

Mario games are still classic as well as Zelda.

All time for me is Phantasy Star 4, I still love playing through that RPG.

Dude, we might have been separated at Birth, because your top four rank up there for me. Sword of Vermillion is the nail though because I didn't think anyone gave a rat's ass about that game. For me add, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star 4, and Rygar for nes (The latter entertaining as if it were a new game, every time I play it).

The Ice Level in Sonic 3 was, and still is, amazing (love the music in it too).

Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. (The entire Wizardry series in fact).

Classic adventure games from Sierra before they were sold (Space Quest, Quest for Glory, King's Quest)

Well, it's hard for me to go back and play my old games, sense all of them are PC Games. I would go back and play Freespace 2 but I dont think that counts.

Thinking about it though, I've had the most success getting One Must Fall 2097 to work on any system.

I also found the means in getting Wing Commander 3 & 4 to work too, but I havent played them through in a long time.

    That's Lucasarts, not Sierra.

Wizardry is awesome, but I wish I could play the PC version on a portable system (as well as Zork).

Well I still play my NES (and all the systems that came after that), as far as anything older I still enjoy games like Galaga, Burger Time, Robotron 2084, and the occasional SHARK! SHARK!

For shame, not one person has listed Pac-Man or Tetris. Not the kind you instinctively reach for, but they're always fun if you happen to pick them up.

For classic games, I still randomly pick classic Megaman games to play through, I could play any of them and have fun still.
