This site has TONS (over 1000) pages of scans from old sears wish books. They have some from 1985, 1983, and 1979..

OMG this is hilarious to look at again. My god the fashion.. the horrible horrible clothes!! And the sad thing.. A lot of the kids in these.. they'd be in their 30s now. :lol

    Enjoy.. So much fun..

Oh and just saw this poor kids clothing

That Transformers page is near legendary for the way almost everything on the page is mistransformed in some way. It's almost remarkable how wrong they got some of them. I don't even see how they got Hoist to stand like that.

Also, even though I am a staunch defender of Gobots not being nearly as bad as people make them out, I have to admit that "Scales" has got to have the worst "robot" mode I've ever seen. What the hell? I can see the ad campaign now: "Transforms from race car to race car on stilts...and back!"

...and the cement mixer mode is only sitting on two wheels.

I forgot how pricey the USS Flagg was. Even now, $160 would scare most people off.

You think that's scary...adjusted for inflation, the USS Flagg cost $283.93 in 2005 dollars. Ouch.
