We were told that Fansproject would be shipping out Thundershred last week, and that online retailers would have them in stock to ship out this week. Well this week is pretty much over and still no Thundershred. Is there a problem with the toy, like QC issues or are they waiting to see how many pre-order from each site. I don't know what the issue is and I guess I'm just getting a little impatient, cause if this one takes forever to come out what's saying the other two won't take this long as well. I guess I gotta keep telling myself that he will be worth the wait, which he will   Is anyone else with me and is dying to have this guy in their hands?

Patience. 3rd parties are notorious for being late. That and it was already stated they are coming out and there was a delay. The new dates on American sites is late July early August (more so early august)

 

FansProject has always had some kind of delay with releasing their figures/upgrades. Its not for the fact of just not shipping on time, it is for the quality control which is always been above and beyond all others. They make sure everything is perfect before it goes out the door. Having to wait a few extra weeks for a top notch product is worth the wait. Like Transbot said, patience. It will be rewarded.  

 

Yea, I figured that would be the case. I don't collect movie toys and I have all the other figures I want, so I need my dose of plastic crack ASAP.  

 

Preaching the the choir brother. For the first time ever I am not collecting a line and I am in deep withdrawl. Thank god for 3rd parties or else I would have to wait for Prime toys with is another 5 months :O

 

I have no problem with waiting. But it seems a lot of this other stuff is going to be pushed back into next year.

If I have one reserved, I could care less how late it comes out, if anything it lets my wallet breathe a little bit.

 

No, I'm not actually mad, just sightly annoyed. Like I said, my wallet has being waiting forever to lose some money, since I haven't bought a toy in a while.(Also you could be little nicer in your comments, I'm just voicing my opinion)

Just feel lucky that you were able to preorder one and it will be there very soon.

I would LOVE to just preorder it no matter when it comes in. But, I just can't afford it right now.

Just be grateful you're in the position you're in right now.

 

I'm kinda' bugged with the preorder as well. I wish this stuff would've taken out of my accoutn already, so I'm jsut done.

 

I received word from my local toyshop where I pre-ordered from that shipment for CA-03 would be delayed to end July/early August.

 

If you're not impatient, then you don't care enough.  

 

I have better things to worry about than when a toy is showing up. Might be cause of the POL system, and the fact that I only ship stuff about every 4 months. It is always nice to see something drop into the pile, but to be honest, once it is on order, I really don't pay attention. It just comes in stock when it comes in stock. Not like they are cancelling the thing.

 

This is basically the 3rd Party version of Valve Software. If you play Valve games, you know that nothing they ever promise pans out as far as release dates, and for the same reasons - attention to quality. As has been said above me, Fans Project would rather delay a release to achieve the best possible product than release a flawed product on time.

Seriously, this is S.O.P for these guys. They mean well, they have the best intentions, and they work their butts off, but they're always late on delivery.

Always. Know this ahead of time and you won't suffer from it in the future.
