Has Hasbro verified so far for 2013?

    So far I've got..

-Voyager Soundwave with Lazerbeak(does that count as one or two?)
-Voyager Soundblaster with Buzzsaw (does that count as 3 and 4?)
    -Rumble (data disk)
    -Ratbat (data disk)
    -Ravage (data disk)
    -Kickback
    -Sideswipe
    -Ultra Magnus
    -Starscream
    -Fireflight

So we've witnessed "12" actual Generations figures so far which are all FOC.

With 40 being the magic number next year (promises, promises...right) do we have 32 left and if I haven't missed someone they've shown, who else should we expect for FOC. And what about actual Classics figures, what should we expect there?

Did Hasbro say EXACTLY 40, OVER 40, or AROUND 40? I can't remember.

There were loads of repaints as well announced for the movie universe line which I reckon hasbro will count as generations

Well there is prime and jazz which I think you've counted but not listed and theres the combaticons which is 5 unless they count the exclusive repaints then that is 10 which could technically mean we've seen over half the line already but I hope I'm wrong on that.

They said "over 40" But I wont hold my breath.
I hope not, unless its the ones like Bludgeon or Terrordive. I hate the actual movie figures.
    They're considered to be 2012 not 2013.

I'm hoping that the Deluxes that were cancelled for the Dark of the Moon line will make their way into Generations. Especially Deluxe Leadfoot! Without the Target/#42 paint apps of course, so he can be sold everywhere!  (Also, Wheeljack. If those two Movieverse toys are in, plus some of the IDW Wreckers I will be happy with Generations. Even if it's just Leadfoot, Que, and Rotorstorm or something! Just those three would make me happy! :D )

Pretty sure you need to add Frenzy ( data disc ) to the list as well. They showed him too.

No. 40.5. They'll give us a dead version of Movie Jazz.

I'm not sure if the disks would count as individual figures to take a spot in the Generations listing. And I'm sure Soundblaster is counted as one of them.

what sucks is that all 5 combaticons take up 5 individual slots instead of Bruticus taking up one generations slot as a box set. crafty bastards. i also hope they don't continue the movie line and take the rest of the generations line with BB repaints

i think tbh 40 is just the number they threw out as an approximation. Given that Voyagers will be at least 2 moulds to a wave, deluxe will be at least 3-5 new molds every 2 waves (assuming the prime waves are an indicator) then theres a lot still unaccounted for

id like clarification on the cyberverse issue, will generations figures be mixed in witrh the prime waves as has been the case so far

im guessing post Comic Con this will be a lot more clear

    My best guess would be this list;

    • Deluxe Optimus Prime
    • Deluxe Jazz
    • Deluxe Shockwave
    • Deluxe Onslaught
    • Deluxe Blast-Off
    • Deluxe Vortex
    • Deluxe Swindle
    • Deluxe Brawl
    • Deluxe Sideswipe
    • Deluxe Ultra Magnus
    • Deluxe Fireflight
    • Deluxe Starscream
    • Deluxe Kickback
    • Voyager Soundwave with Laserbeak
    • Voyager Soundblaster with Buzzsaw

That's fifteen there. I wouldn't count the other discs (Ravage, Frenzy and Rumble) just yet. We'll see what happens. I'm sure the SDCC/Amazon Bruticus figure doesn't count either, given that it isn't a mass release figure.

I think I remember hearing something about a Springer figure during Botcon. I'm not sure though, so I won't list it. So that's fifteen confirmed, and twenty five we've yet to hear about. I hope one of is a voyager Grimlock, and the other Dinobots would be awesome too.

Are you talking about the Movie All-Stars line? It's Asia exclusive, so it wouldn't count towards the 40.

Besides, why would they include movie figures in Generations? :peoples:

to make money of the SW and Q designs I guess. Did that green jet ever get a release, Air-Raid was it?

I've gotten to the point that really most stuff hastak make just does nothing for me even these FOC toys are falling short (pun'D)

But I dont blame them for making poor designs its more of a case of the toys needing to be made cheaper and safer at the cost of how the designer might have wanted it to turn out.
