But why do we need this, Okami already looks great and "sharper" graphics don't change gameplay or am I missing something?

I've already got the PS2 version, and the Wii version completely missed the reason people wanted to use the remote. Hopefully the Move controls get it right, but for a $20 port, I'm not holding my breath. I'm going to skip this one and see if they port it to the Wii U with tablet support for the brush strokes.

    We "need" this because I don't have a PS2.

For those who have never played Okami before this game is great! I love the game though I wiah it was more challenging.

Basically, it's Zelda for people that don't own a Nintendo console. It was originally also a game with a stylus/pointer oriented gimmick on a console that had neither a pointer nor a stylus. Not that any of that makes your description any less accurate.
