Ok some of you would say that Oilslick and Cy-kill are motorcycles and scrawny bodies so what.

What's so weird about Oilslick is the head in the jar.

    Then it hit me.

Oilslick could very well be a tongue in cheek or homage to the Gobots.

The head in jar could very well be a reference to Gobot's brains in their heads.

Heh, maybe they'll be an in-joke or something, like he was originally called Cy-Kill or Go-bot or Renegade. It's entirely possible.

    That'd be awesome-ly funny.

Maybe he'll be given some title like "The Decepticon Renegade Hunter" or something.

It we are right in guessing the episode that he'll appear on the second season.

hrrrrrrrrrrm... I do hope for a GO-BOT spoof in Animated. Maybe as a TV show or actors portraying transformers...

I still don't know what oil Slick will end up as.

I get the feeling that the Decepticon bounty hunter on the forthcoming "Fistful of Energon" is gonna be Oil Slick rather than the one-hit-wonder Lockdown. Anyone?

I don't. Thus far he seems like a total case-filler figure, as everything else in the show, character wise, has had some sort of build up or prelude.

Not nessicarily. Neither Soundwave nor Lockdown had any buildup previous to their respective eps (unless you count Ratchet's war injuries). I suspect Oil Slick will be featured in a self-contained episode in much the same way; and disepear afterwards just as completely.

One of the things that has impressed me about this toy line is how many elements in it are references to specific episodes (ie Bumblebee's rocket boosters and Leader Bulkhead's Headmaster). I doubt that they would throw in a new mold as filler in this line. Maybe if Oily was a repaint I'd agree with you.

Of course, this all avoids the obvious question: when will Broadside show up?

    I know; duh right?

I'm pretty sure he won't be getting his own episode, at least not anytime soon.

EDIT: Oilslick, that is. I didn't mean Broadside. Though I doubt he will either :(

"Aided by a mysterious benefactor, Detroit's B-level villains team up to take down the Autobots once & for all. "

    Sounds like Oilslick to me!

Sounds more like a work of the mysterious Pink Glasses Man for me... :)

And with Meltdown trying to create transforming humans, it's pretty possible he is going to be Oilslick...
