So I know this is the Ohio board, but I figured Michigan was close enough for some people here. We took a day trip to Auburn Hills and I spotted almost a full set of the classic lions at TRU Express in Great Lakes Crossing Outlet mall. Only one missing was black. They had 2 PotP Starscreams and really not much else of note.
Anyone else making a trip to Ollie's after the Trypticon find? And if anyone makes it to the Dayton Mall store before I do and they have more than one, either hide it or grab it and I'll pay you back! Thanks!
Which Ollie's had one, not sure if the front page spelled it out or not? I know where I'm headed though lol. I really wasn't too interested in it for $150 since it had that spring tension issue, but I may consider it for even $50-60.
I checked the Toledo Ollies first thing this morning to no avail. They had the TR wave with Triggerhappy for 7.99, though. I think it was a store in Florida that had it.
I was literally coming here to post that about the Toledo Ollie's, I just left there aboit half an hour ago lol.
No luck at Dayton Mall Ollie's either. But they do have about 20 of the TR deluxes that have been popping up! Finally grabbed TR Krok for $8.
Ollies north olmstead had Kroc, quake, trigger happy, twinferno. No big tryps that I could see. I hope this doesn’t go the same way the fort max hunt went last year...
How did that go? I wasn't around at that time... EDIT: I also checked Florence, KY Ollie's this morning. No Trypticon.
Well my personal experience, I heard about started calling the next day (11am ish). I was asking employees if they could look up via there number and they’ve could but then asked what it was and just immediately shut me down saying they already sold out. I FELT like I was chasing a dream that I missed by hours. There are three ollies within ~25 minutes of Cleveland then 2 more a little further out.
I had to make a two-hour round trip to get Fort Max from Ollie's. Totally worth it, but hoping I don't have to do that again for Trypticon...
Guys, 8 Thundercrackers at Dayton Mall TRU. This is your chance, Cincy people. There was a sign outside that said that they're emptying their warehouses, and to check back daily for new shit.
I think the trypticon is a hoax or MAYBE a one off. No way a toy that expensive that wasn’t even really at retailers stores would be discounted that low. The picture looks similar to the one that appeared a while back
