No just old Titans return stuff for everything else
Good discussion. I guess it helps to take some perspective - we are on the internet so there’s always going to be those areas/stores that get things earlier but that’s the exception rather than the rule.
I was looking at Swoop’s instructions last night and it mentioned Slug and Snarl would be available mid-2018.
And that is, of course, not counting Market Six locations, which get "new" toys of old molds years after they were in vogue.
Or resale locations, like Ollies or TJ Maxx/Marshals/HomeGoods, which sometimes get unsold toys from other locations but ALSO sometimes get toys that we all desperately wanted in the US but never actually made it to primary shelves due to shipping delays/overstock/gross incompetence.
Or, my personal favorite, what I like to call "time delay" stores, where the stocking and overturn of toys is so painfully slow that they still have things from months or years ago. When I first got into Combiner Wars, it was mid-wave 3, and I was still able to get about half the Wave 1 and all the Wave 2 by hitting up K-Mart.
And then there's the stores where... well, I just don't know what goes on, but they seem to move out of step with the rest of the world. Walgreens will have their shelves filled with toys from three waves ago, until suddenly they break with the first sightings in the US of a new wave, all unexpected. Then there's Meijer - I think the reason Meijer is weird is that they don't have a publicly accessible inventory API that can be checked via Brickseek, which means people actually have to GO TO THE STORE to see what they have, meaning that scalpers and hunters alike are backfooted there and less likely to remember them or bother to check.
I love Meijer; they do tend to get overlooked and they seem to at least make the attempt to have something on the shelves..might be a wave old but at least it's not an empty wasteland like Walmart. More often than not I seem to eventually be able to find every wave there over time, I can't remember a single wave they skipped.
Evendale Walmart has 2 POTP Optimus, 2 POTP Elvis Unicronus and some wave 1 legends.
I know somebody said Northern Ohio is getting their Wave 2 Deluxes late, but I'm holding out hope for us in the South. Springboro Walmart told my wife that they had a big truck coming in at 4 PM, to check back later, so I'm going to hit Wilmington/Lebanon/Springboro in a circuit on my way home, will report what I find.
Not happening. Sorry.
Transformers Generations Power Of The Primes 6 Inch Action Figure Deluxe Class Wave 1 - Set of 4 - Walmart Inventory Checker - BrickSeek I checked 45005 and zip. zilch.
I can't think of the name (sorry) but the dude with Snoop as his avatar checked the Cinci area and they were bumped to the 13th as well.
You're more than welcome to go, but you'll come home empty handed. Sorry.
Target has Transformers on sale
Cool! Do they actually have anything worth picking up?
2 Hun Gurrs and 2 Elita 1 on the shelf. Nothing else
That's definitely worth picking up! Dayton Mall Target?
Beavercreek Target. By the base.
According to TRU's street date list that was updated yesterday, we have some Transformers hitting shelves on April 1st. Studio Series deluxe, voyager, and leader wave 1... and it looks like even Bumblebee movie deluxe? Take the last part with a grain of salt for now.
Polaris Target has one 1 set of Hun-grrr and Elita and a slew of wave 2 legends.
Wilmington Walmart has 2 "Cool Stepdad Rodimus" and 2 Optimus Primes, as well as several sets of the Wave 1 Prime Masters.
Also, their TLK stuff is super marked down, if there's anything people are looking for specifically lemme know, I can check and see if they have it and what the price point is.
April 1st is Easter Sunday, so the store won't be open, but it's not uncommon for them to have a holiday release date, then put them on the shelves the day after. If it holds true, we'll see them on the 2nd.
Is layaway still active at the Niles store?
More significantly, is TRU into April Fool's jokes??
More realistically, will TRU still be open come April?
I keep forgetting Easter Sunday is also April 1st. Could be very possible. Regarding layaway, yes, layaway is available.
