Is this a new listing? I am not seeing anything that says it is coming out unless I am overlooking it?

 

Not really. This is the original listing that tipped us off to the figure coming to the US in the first place, and confirmed that for Hasbro, the blue one was Rumble. It's been on there for a while.

Unless you are seeing something new on that page I'm not?

 

I didn't think Hasbro had put something on their own page. I thought all stuff we'd had so far was via unofficial sources and/or Takara. If I'm wrong, please feel free to lock.

I was under the same impression as Sol Fury, that it was already on there. Also, Windcharger and Sunspot also have their own pages.

 

No, people were apparently too busy complaining "hey @$$brow, why don't you make the toys I want available at my local Walmart?"

 

Hasbro took the initiative. Post a huge slide that had "Reveal The Shield" on it and gave us the expected "we try to get everything out because you know we like money but we only have so much control over what our distributors order". I believe they hinted that unreleased scouts (sorry Windchager) may have a chance in the future but nothing solid as of Botcon. Or nothing solid they could share.

They gave it the same line as the unreleased Animated stuff: "We'll try to find homes for these."

I believe the idea of a hasbro frenzy or rumble was cancelled due to the failure that reveal the shield turned out to be.

 

I think, though, that we're more likely to see something classics-related than something animated-related actually find a new home. The animated toys don't fit in with any still-extant line. CHUGS is confirmed to be continuing, so much easier to find a place for Frumble.

The problem is really that scouts don't seem to be continuing on. I- perhaps naively/optimisically- think we'll see him/them packaged with a future, larger figure at a higher price point.

 

We first knew his name was Rumble due to the Hasbro website back in December.
