I searched for this and didn't see anything.

Anyways, I found a couple of Visionaries figures along with a HUGE number of old Joes in my brother's closet the other day.

The figures I found are Leoric and Cravex. These toys are actually quite nice. Very good quality plastic and they're a little taller than Joes and quite bulkier....I guess due to the armor they're wearing.

I hope they reissue these things in the same scale, only with better articulation. After finding these, I'm really starting to like them again.

Are there any fans of this cool series? Post up and let everyone know!

    Yo,

    Visionaries were the shit!

I have the 8 single figures MOSC, ready to be sent to AFA.

I have an AFA 80 Lancer Cycle vehicle.

The Visionaries cartoon was one of my favorites. I have the complete 13 episodes on dvd.

I have all the good guys. They are in a box in the attic at my parents' place. I did not care much for the bad guys back then (my friend had them).

I'm sure they'll remake Visionaries if they can get people to think holograms are high-tech and cool again. Even back then it was a hard sell. :p

I liked the show. Mostly cause it was the GIJoe/TF show gang making em. and the comic was alright. I can't remember. I bought more than one ish I remember, so I must've liked it. :)

Ah Visionaries. I have them all here somewhere. Always loved the idea. Never was a magic fan but this I got into. And the toys were fantastic for the time. Great articulation even.

I'm jealous of that Azron. However, I think my favorite was Ectar.

Never had any of the toys (which surprises me), but I loved the cartoon and comics. Would love to have the series on DVD again. Any idea where I can get it?

    Amen, dude, amen!

Love these guys. It's also easy enough to complete. My favourite is Ectar and his Lancer Cycle (Dagger Assault and Galadria comes in close second and third). I have 1 complete set of 8 figures and 4 vehicles loose and another complete set of 8 figures MOSC and 4 vehicles MISB. Here is my Visionaries collection.

Cravex, Darkstorm, Lexor, Leoric, Arzon, Cyotek and Whitterquick MOSC; Lancer Cycle and Sky Claw MISB
    [IMG]

Cindarr MOSC (only quite recently got this to complete the set of 8 MOSC)

Spectral Knights Capture Chariot and Lancer Cycle MISB; Darkling Lords Sky Claw and Dagger Assualt MISB

The entire series was officially released on DVD in the UK. You can try getting it from an online seller based there. :)

Digging up an old thread, but these are listed at Hasbro's CS site. I know the females were never released, but are they old disc listings or something new?

I found Cravex in a dollar bin a few years back. He has all his accessories minus the gun blade weapon, holograms are perfect. I stood him on my random miscellaneous shelf next to some Joes & Star Wars guys. I never saw the comics & the show didn't seem to air long here so I never got into them as a kid.

I thought the show was cool. The comics could have been cool if they didn't cancel it in the middle of a 4 part story arc.

So what's the verdict on Visionaries, anyone think we'll see the 6 inch line shown at SDCC?

I hope they put real effort into it, and it's not crap like Marvel and JW stuff has been.

I loved this show back in the day! It was probably the last toy line I actually collected before putting on my big boy pants and adopting "more mature pursuits" (like comics and snapping bra straps in middle school ).

I ended up buying a VHS off ebay in 1999 with the episodes dubbed (terrible quality). Epic show and toyline. Loved me some Cryotek and Witterquick (sp?).

I'm glad to see Visionaries back in action, but at the same time I wish Mighty Muggs stayed dead.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 6-inch Visionaries line, if that's what the writings on the wall are suggesting.

Speaking of bringing old characters back, how would they go about doing a whole toyline for ROM? Originally, it was just the one toy, and if they want to promote the movie via toys, where would Rom's toy go? Marvel Legends?
