Because it's done by the same voice actress that did her in TFTM 1986, Susan Blu!
Most of us knew this already, but yes it is Susan Blu. I myself do not really like Arcees voice.
This is new info?
She is also the VA director for Animated. Kinda easy for the writers to give the character a cameo, or more.
No, it was revealed at Botcon.
yeah she still has it took me back to the old transformers movie days growing up! Arcee still rocks now if Melissa Fairborn could show up that would kick ass!!!
Was my sarcasm not dripping enough?
noooo, your sarcasm was just fine.
Thanks for clearing that up for us
Sarcasm aside, this isn't even qualified as "info" anymore...
Sure it is. Not everyone hangs on every little bit of animated news and knows about it beforehand. I didn't know Blu would reprise her role and I was very glad to hear her sound exactly the same.
The whole Arcee thing just didn't work for me honestly =/
But its nice to have a homage
No, but maybe we can re-title this thread and show what other old VO will be returning in this show. I had heard that there were others, but I forgot who they were. Weren't "Blur" and "Wreckgar" ' s VOs making a return.
I heard David Kaye was in this one! Is it true?!
No WAY MAN!, I would have recognized his "YESSSSSSSS!!!!"
All kidding aside, I was pretty damn surprised to learn that he was Clank in Ratchet and Clank.
Dude is super versatile.
Frank Welker Jr for sure. Irony or fate?!
I was actually going to say that. I know a lot of people hear him in Animated Prime, but I really don't. Prime (Animated) is not BW Megs, is not Clank. The man definitely has the gift of voice. And Clank has the coolest voice in Video Games. Such personality, especially his almost (Scooby Doo laugh).
Blur is going to be voiced by the same guy from the original movie (I'll be damned if I know him by any other name then the "Micro Machine guy") but Wreck-gar will be voiced by Wierd Al Yankovich. Who although did not voice the original Wreck-gar, he did have his song playing during the Junkion attack.
Hehehe, that's still going to be a very nice tough (Wierd Al, even).
John Moschitta, Jr. is "reprising" his role as Blurr. Eric Idle did Wreck-Gar in the film. I kind of wish that they could have gotten Eric to come back, but it's a nice touch to have "Weird Al" Yankovic doing it instead. Plus, I'm pretty sure he can pull off the TV-obsessed scatterbrain without much effort.
Also, Jazz is supposed to be voiced by Phil LaMarr.
Separate names with a comma.
