Scorn's photos have never been seen before. Drift's alternate mode photo was shown at Smyths around the same time as the Cogman photos from the first post.
It's too bad they couldn't have found a way for Cogman's transformation to include a head coming from his driver's seat.
Oh goody: another toy of a character who never actually transforms in the movie, let alone into a car. I know, I know, cutting room floor, but Hasbro must be at least a little perturbed that Cogman never did anything in the film besides being a robot butler.
Dear HASBRO: I hate these things. The problem I have with your 1-step changers is that the springs tend to make conversion difficult for small children (and adults). They constantly want to auto-morph the Transformer into a particular mode. For example, with your 1-step TLK Bumblebee, the toy had difficulty staying in car mode, so my son could not play with it as he intended to. In toys like your RB Brachiosaur Heatwave (the small one), the springs entirely ruin an otherwise excellent product because they prevent conversion entirely (the mechanism was badly designed). When my kid begs me for a 1-step toy now, I know enough to keep the packaging and receipt - the toys soon go back to the store as defective merchandise, because those dang springs actively resist conversion by wanting to eject back into robot mode constantly! Please consider removing the spring gimmicks and try a more G1-design, where kids are expected to move all the parts themselves (for conversion). Thank you! EDIT: Because I cannot always SEE the spring elements of these toys, I'm hesitant to purchase any of them. If your toys feature springs and auto-conversion, I think you should clearly label that on their packaging, to avoid inevitable frustration and returns.
I couldn't wait to see the dinobots in the new movie. They said they worked on developing their personalities compared to AOE. Seeing how the new movie was about the Knights Of Cybertron I thought the dinobots would have a much larger role. I was also hoping they would speak. Then I saw the movie and.......uh...........nevermind!
Yeah the 'personality' thing ended up with Grimlock being a 'naughty puppy'. Some legendary warrior... Might have to get this Scorn just to complete the AOE Dinobots in the toy box we have for visiting kids.
The only 1 step figures that my son has that still work properly are the fliparound car Drift and RID Sideswipe. They work because of the absolute simplicity of them. The first RID Bumblebee no longer works and Strongarm was a total waste of money. Lockdown and Crosshairs use simple mechanisms but they won't stay in car mode anymore. I kind of appreciate the engineering that went into some of the one step mechanisms, but if they don't work it is kind of pointless.
