finally? we've had ratchet pictures for a little while now.. i wish they actually "revealed" a figure that we either haven't seen yet.. or haven't seen colored yet, ie voyager starscream and voyager skyquake.

i agree with you.. i can't wait for these figures to come out!! and i can't wait for generations toys as well. unless money is the issue.. i don't understand why someone would choose one over the other.

Dammit, another Prime toy that I might have to get...

 

Seems to me Hasbro has a bit of a problem on their hands. The deluxe class was introduced in 1995. For $10. To keep even with inflation, the the deluxe class would have to be about $15 today. The $10 to $12 they're charging isn't enough, and it shows. I was sorting my collection this week and came accross my RiD and Beast Wars toys. The paint difference is staggering. Look at BW Rampage or RiD Sky-Byte.

They simply have to charge more or we just won't get paint.

 

I'm digging the transformation. Seems to be something of a shellformer. I bet the calves are going to rotate at the mid point, judging by the front fender built into the leg and the position of the front wheels. Waist swivel and the arms make up the rear section of the ambulance.

I still don't know whether I want this or not. Definitely waiting for the in hand images. I'm not really down for much of the Prime line from what we've seen of the later waves aside from Vehicons.

Definitely looks better in a dynamic pose. Might get him, depending on finances at the time.

If I do, I'm still considering adding a little stripe of paint to the arms like that one digibash that one guy did in the other thread, because I'm sure he just loves that I'm calling him "that one guy."

 

Hey painters (or those who already have him) what shade of red is this?! like if I go to a hobby shop and look at the paints they have what would I look for (as close as possible) to paint his "shortcomings"..?

Considering how much ridiculous blue the toy is riddled with compared to this fancy better looking photoshop'd stock image, I'm not holding my breath that THIS is what we'll actually be seeing in packages once it's released.
