I'm really getting sick of this Cyberverse shit. Every time there's news of a new release I'm hoping for deluxe or voyager & it always ends up being this crap. We can get 50 million versions of Bruticus but to hell with all the other combiners. If these were deluxe I'd be all over'em but Cyberverse SUCKS! What the hell is the point of this over-priced dollar store KO quality line anyway?

Ew. I think I actually prefer the individual release colours. Even for Twinstrike.

Over-packaged much? Seriously, this thing could be 1/3 this size.

Not even FansProject could make an add-on that can help that gift-set like they did for the Target Exclusive ROTF Bruticus.

    No, it's a 4-5 inch combiner.

    Tiny.

Yeah, the box art goes a long way to proving the theory that making Hun-Grrr a larger size class would have resulted in a far better combined mode.

Oh yeah, look at that, he does. Okay, then, that's good. That takes care of my chief complaint.

-Price: kids who can't afford the larger figures can still buy these; remember how we all loved minibots as a kid for the same reason? Also, since all the headliner characters are available in Cyberverse, it gives those kids the chance to own a full cast of characters.

-Simplicity: ease of transformation make Cyberverse fun to just fiddle with without requiring much time investment. Also, again, kids.... younger kids who aren't quite ready for the more difficult deluxes can get simple-to-transform versions of their favorite characters.

-Compactness: small toys take up less space, which is good not just for kids but for collectors as well. You can have an entire line sitting on your desk with a minimal footprint. Not everyone has ample room for display.

-Play factor and playlets: these smaller figures are a great way to incorporate playsets and vehicles, things that add to play value but that we don't get much in the TF world. It's a different kind of play value, and again, great for kids: having more of a "setting" for their toys fuels the imagination.

There are plenty of other reasons that Cyberverse fills an important niche in the franchise. You may think it's "shit," but that probably just means you aren't the target audience.

When I was a young, "behind the couch" and "under the table" were pretty compelling settings. Kids today, no imagination. :p
