Target had Titans returns deluxes for $10. Plus they have $10 off $50 purchase or $25 off a $100 purchase coupons.

There's a 15 percent off transformers generations toys cartwheel as well, but I guess that's to clear out combiner wars? I dunno the targets around here are bare of Titans returns stuff so wasn't able to try it out.

The ones around here are pretty well stocked with wave 1 and two deluxes, and some voyagers. Galvatron seems to be shelfwarming.

THAT makes sense now! I was trying all sorts of combinations with Soundwave to bring it down that low.

And because the message seems to have been muddled over the last few pages:
Target has a mobile coupon for $10 off $50 in toys or $25 off $100 in toys. Text "TOYS10" or "TOYS 25" to TARGET or 827438.
Target ALSO has a Cartwheel coupon for 15%-off Transformers Generations (Titans Return and Combiner Wars), and yes, the deals DO combine!

You can just type in "TARGET" and it'll send, but the number equivalent is "827438".
I have updated my earlier post to reflect this. :)

Which one gets applied first? The $25 off or the 15% off? (if it is the latter then need to find more fillers to get to the $100 threshold).

Good question! I don't remember which code they scanned first, but my subtotal was just over $50, and both coupons were able to be applied.
Looking at my receipt, it appears that the 15% was taken off, and THEN the $10 after that, even though my total after the 15%-off coupon was below $50. As long as it starts at or above $50/$100, the coupon will work.

People were saying that the 10 off 50 and 25 off 100 are taken off automatically at the register, though I haven't tried without scanning the coupon.

Also if you have the cartwheel app for the 15% off, the other coupons are in the app itself anyway, hit the checkout button and it's another tab.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone already mentioned this, but if you don't already use Honey you should definitely check it out. It's an extension that automatically tries coupon codes for you at checkout for certain large online retailers like Amazon and Jet. It actually integrates itself into Amazon and tells you if a certain product is the best price (even taking shipping into account) or if another seller has a better deal. it usually can find coupon codes for HTS too.

At the store you have them scan the $25 off coupon first then the cartwheel app for the 15%.

And no it isn't automatic- you need to show the mobile or cartwheel coupon.

Usually it's that the cashier has a printed coupon he/she scans for you. If coupon has a bar code, it wouldn't be automatic... right? I can see a lot of people mystified by the whole process, when in reality they are paying zero attention at the register.

Not every Target's cashiers will auto-coupon you, though, so definitely keep going to the ones that do! :thumb

(Also, doesn't hurt to ask Cashier if they have an applicable coupon they can scan. I've had $5/10 coupons scanned for me in past, and I have no idea what they were for.)

Or just download the cartwheel app. That shows you all available coupons under the "check out" screen.

It should be noted that the 15% off cartwheel coupon only applies to 4 items per transaction. So you if you buy 6 TFers, 15% only applies to the 4 most expensive ones. After that you get no discount.

Also from what I understand, $ off coupons always apply after % discounts regardless of the order you scan the coupon.

In any case you'd always want this to be the case when mixing % off and $ off coupons anyway. You wants want % off of the larger total because that's higher discount. The $ off is a constant.

^^^ It depends on circumstances. For instance, if it's $25 off $100 you might want to use the $ off coupon first because you might drop below the spend requirement if you use the % first.
