I have a feeling Trypticon is going to feature heavy in the sales this year. That's a mighty big box to have sitting on shelves.

 

Target.com has SS21 starscream in stock, price is 27.99, can apply 25% off coupon

 

They probably finally got a hold of where Ollie's is buying from or were able to negotiate the same terms with hasbro directly. It's good to see BBTS copying Ollie's business model a bit if this is true.

 

Was this out of stock at BBTS prior to this? Not to get too far off topic but I would imagine this is just BBTS's normal stock and they're still making money at whatever wholesale price Hasbro sold them. I don't know for sure but I really feel like at most retailers pay 25% of the MSRP from manufacturers and this is just them clearing them out of there. It would almost be dumb of them to invest into MORE Trypticons no matter the price at this point in the toy's lifespan.

 

Has the new one gone done anywhere near that price yet? That’s probably the only non 3P/MP TF I’m waiting to scoop up.

 

HTS on eBay had it for ~$137.99 plus free shipping when an additional 10% off eBay coupon hit two weeks ago. That's the best I've seen to date.

 

Normal retailers pay about 50% of the retail price to Hasbro. Target/Walmart likely pay more like 45%. Hasbro's cost is approximately 25%, which is why when things show up at Ross/etc the price they sell items for is about half the retail price.
