Yeah, I think he showed up at Costco cheap, but I thought I remembered him coming to Ollies or someplace similar.

He showed up at Costco for $80. I was able to get several for my friends for $50. I believe he even went down to $35.

Yes, but stupidly limited in geography: I didn't hear of any other IL sightings outside of Chicago itself. :banghead:  I checked around, at the time! :mad

In other news, Walmarts are stocking stacks of G1 Hot Rods right now.
(Why have I never used that phrase, "stocking stacks", before? :lol  "Stocking stacks of Hot Rods" - is what you might hear Zap say on any given day).
I've seen one G1 Starscream, and stickered shelf space for G1 Devastator. I'm hoping they stock these high enough to get us some decent markdowns later... whilst also hoping sales are not so terrible that they cancel the G1 reissues entirely! :D

Rather odd that Metroplex didn't show up at Ollie's but Trypticon did.

I saw a SS Blackout left in my local Target yesterday, in website it's sold out.
Didn't take it at that moment, still thinking about getting it with 50-10, then just realize the sale is over now

Now, he's worth it. Throw on the Red Card and even more so. Nice catch.

Thank you. Anybody that bought him last week with the $10 off $50 / $25 off $100 you can get a price adjustment.

I just contacted Target.com via chat help and they did a price adjustment on the Soundwave I ordered on 10/7. They refunded $7 and still let the $25 off $100 roll. :buttrock

Since my order was barely $100, Soundwave was 25% off with an additional $7 off/refunded.

So I basically paid $30.50 for him. :p

    YMMV

    ---
He's totally worth it even at $42.99. His base mode was a surprise and a delight with that sweet dark blue with his three cassette minions from the Bee cassette pack occupying it. The whole set up makes for a great desk toy.

Don't have the O.G. TR Soundwave, but have Blaster, and Blaster looks cheap in base mode side by side.

I was gonna post this, too! :thumb  Whoever said that the $50 tag prices in the sales was correct! :)

It's so bizarre to see stacks of SW at Target - just goes to show you the manufacturing, shipping, and distribution power of Hasbro... when they want to make the effort. Stopped by Walmart the other day, and there were so many new TFs on the shelves, I thought I fell into a time warp.

EDIT: Or maybe it's the stores bottle-necking everything, as they don't seem to care to restock anything during the rest of the year. I'm just trying to figure out where the failure is occurring, not start a debate on the wrong forum! :lol

I have it bookmarked but funny enough I've never actually taken advantage of it. I just keep it handy to post it here when people ask (much like @ChromeMagnus did this time).
