$77 is a better price for devestator...should help sales, but still not a great price.

It's only Grindor and Ratchet. it is the 'Surface to Air Showdown', after all.

Does this apply to Sam's Club? They're basically the same store, and I don't have a Costco near me. But that's a much better price for Devs.

In terms of what you're getting, you won't be seeing the Ratchet/Grindor two-pack, however if Sam's Club, and infact any store matches prices, than if there's ever a Costco flier, swing that over to the place where you're going to purchase it.

Er.. they think Devastator is an exclusive? At least there selling it cheaper than other stores.

My experience with Costco exclusives is that they get distributed very poorly and it's a pain to try and find any. Crumplezone/Prime 2-pack anyone?

What??? Thats like saying walmart and Target are the same store

If you had any knowledge of past Transformer offerings at Costco you would know they almost always change something. The most common things are packaging changes (animated prime from last year and Ult BB) or come with a smaller toy packed inside ( '07 movie prime). Even if there is only a minor or cosmetic change the item becomes an exclusive.

Every region of Costco has its own separate buyer for each department. That buyer is responsible for purchasing and ordering items for stores in their area. In years prior Costco has only offered one transformers item. Last year they had two. However since one was based on a tv series (supreme animated prime) and one was not (Prime and CZ) most regions focused on the more likely item to sell. Before you ask, yes, Supreme Prime was a complete sellout for Costco. Another example is that last year most of the stores carried the Star Wars At-Te but only select high dollar stores got the falcon as well. It is not poor distribution at all just highly selective.

UM...they are owned by different corporations. Sam's Club is actually owned by Wal-Mart. Costco is by themselves
