This sounds pretty cool... I have been mostly out of the loop- any word on which shows they are going to air?

G4 tends to attract an older audience (I think) so is there hope for G1 or perhaps a new non-shit TF cartoon?

My guess is that G4 is just not the place they would choose to launch a new cartoon... but a guy can dream.

G4 is the new MTV, completely ignoring the entire point of their channel. It's cool that they are giving Transformers some further exposure and all but I don't even think Transformers belong on there. Plus, the man show on a video "game channel?" WTF you know?

I don't care what the channel is supposed to be. In my opinion they are finally useful to me considering they aren't Tech TV anymore.

Hmmm, the Man Show, BW, and perhaps some day (late 2006 or early 2007) the original TF. I'll be tuning in quite a bit.

I hope G4 doesn't think that this will get them forgiven, for what they did to Tech TV.

Would anyone really want them to air a brand new TF series? I'd hope not.

Why? 1.) Limited distribution (not everyone has digital cable or satellite) 2.) They'll chop it to shreds like they did TechTV 3.) It's G4...should I have had to mention 1 and 2?

Not uncommon for cable channels to go outside their home category to pick up some new viewers.

What does "G4" have to do with Action Blast or The Man Show (Or Star Trek TNG), well...

What does "Discovery channel" have to do with bike and car customizing shows?

What does "The Learning Channel" have to do with Trading Spaces?

What did "Comedy Central" have to do with Battlebots?

    - Ain't nothin' new. Besides, "Action Blast" is on in the mornings, so they're probably trying to draw more kids to their channel - come for the cartoons, stay for the videogame shows, so to speak.

At least with Discovery and the cars, etc... this will sound cheesy, but it fits their name.

You literally discover the potential of the car, how it's done, etc. You actually learn from it. Now granted, G4 isn't at all comparable in that department, but at least the cars do fit in with Discovery. There's a science to it, no ifs ands or buts about it.

G4 is just whoring out property.
