Official Images of Universe/25th Anniversary Starscream - Transformers News
He's a must buy for sure. My first Classics Starscream will hopefully undergo some painting etc to become Thundercracker.
Looks really good. The origional was good too, but this somehow does look better. Either way I'll be getting him, though I'll probalby wait till I get him before kitbashing the origional, just to make sure I'm able to get one.
Gorgeous jet mode, like a mini Masterpiece Screamer... Issit just me or does the robot mode look a lil bland in the new pic? I might still be gettin him tho... jet mode looking awesome in white!
Hmm...not a big fan of the head being white/light gray plastic with black paint...
because I can see that there is white/gray plastic on the sides.
yeah he does look bland. i wish they could look like the photoshopped stock photos. once you see the stock then the real deal its always disappointing.
It does look a little washed out. An unintentional nod to the way Starscream sometimes looked washed out in promo shots from the 80s.
Way too bland. I'll be getting the Henkei one, after all.
he looks better than the original classics SS but im feeling the extra touches on the henkei version make him the nicest looking version. I like the G1 homage but it is really bare bones. The pearly plastic doesnt help either.
It looks like the white on the sides of his head is to make the head blend into the rest of the nosecone in Alt mode. I can't tell if it's a white head with black paint or a black head with white paint though...
I think I like the Henkei version better. :/
he well look so cool with my other seekers
Have not bought any of the previous releases of Starscream, so I'm definitely getting this one.
This looks very good indeed.
I'm glad I found out about its existence before I picked up the Henkei version.
I know it's probably how the mold is done with all pieces casted in the same color, but I wish they could make the torso and nipple-wheel part in red plastic and paint a few area like the waist and wheel.
He look good though, but may need some black lining to break all that white I'll probably get him despite having the original and the Henkei anyway!
Hasbro seems determined to confuse us with the "[INSERT NAME] Series" subtitles. Okay, so the G1 Optimus Prime reissue is "Generation 1 Series".... but this Starscream is also a "Generation 1 Series" toy as well?
So when does "Classics Series" end and "Generation 1 Series" begin is my question.
EDIT: GAH, the Roadbuster Vs Dirge comic pack is "G1 Series", not "Generation 1 Series".
What the hell, Hasbro?
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you...
ah sip. i'm so getting this. ^^
the Universe paint-aps are starting to look incredibly lackluster. The Chrome on the Henkei figures is grating, but this is just so dull looking. I for one would be willing to eat a couple more bucks on Universe deluxes for "premium" paint (especially if they came in sweet boxes like the Universe Special Editions)...
Crap! I didn't even notice the "Generation 1 Series" on there... Yeah, they need to get them simplified...
Classic Series (includes G1, War Within, G2, etc.)
Beast Wars Series
Beast Machines Series
