Wonder if Ratchet is going to be more of a wide-release now

It's entirely possible that the previous images we saw were erroneously packaged with the exclusive stickers, although I've never heard of that happening before, nor have I heard of an exclusive going to a wider release.

I think it might just be that K-Mart have not updated their system with this as an exclusive, and therefore not coming to them, yet. Or perhaps K-Mart and TRU are sharing these as exclusives? That's probably more likely than an exclusive suddenly going to wide release.

Walmart had the Universe 1.0 Long Haul/Hightower and Bonecrusher/Scavenger two-packs on their website for over a year.

Y'know, the ones that eventually ended up as Target exclusives.

Also, if you follow the product numbers they're sequential and seem to be somewhat ordered by release. "19" is Electrostatic Soundwave. "20" is blank (Arcee?). "21" is Ratchet. The next three are Freeway Jazz, Rodimus, and Toxic Oil Slick. There don't appear to be any others after Oil Slick.

That doesn't tell us much, but it is interesting.

Cyber Ratchet looks like a true playa...may consider picking him up, for his true playa-edness.

Seriously, I think he looks cool. I'm assuming he gets released early next year?

Maybe the TRU exclusive was for a different country?

Otherwise I have no clue. But the easier to find arcee and him both, the better.

There was a thread about this in toy discussion a few days back.

K-mart doesn't usually seem to know what the heck is going on with their toys. On the shelves OR online :lol

As I recall, Kmart was bought by Sears Roebuck several years ago, as was I believe Toys R Us and now recently FAO Shwarz. Same parent company lends itself to possibly sharing exclusives.

I remember finding the universe 1.0 protectobots for sixturbo at Sears (supposed to be Kay Bee exclusives), and the 1.0 Constructicons for sixbuilder were on Kmarts website for a long time.

I wonder if the figures got kicked over to be a Kmart exclusive instead? Seems strange. I am pretty darn sure they are not owned by the same parent company. And even if they were, the parent company would be running them independently of each other and surely would not be making decisions about who gets to carry a TF exclusive.

Guys, K-Mart had on their website for the longest time Toxic Oil Slick, Blackout, Wingblade Optimus Prime, Hydrodive Bumbles, Goldfire Grimlock, and pretty much every other known Animated toy except for the ones we've come recently to know about post-Botcon (the last wave of Activators, Vortex Blurr, Mudbuster Bulkhead). They also have multiple entries for some toys like Blitzwing, and about 80-90% of their listings are NEVER in stock, at least whenever I've checked (which is often).

Kmart.com is notoriously incompetent, and this listing is a mistake. DO NOT read anything more into this.
