Great, more Bayformers.

 

Hailstorm looks pretty nice, might pick him up to serve as Classics G2 Mindset for the time being. The rest of HftD Deluxe wave 2 doesn't look so hot, though. I have no reason to get Elita-1 (since I passed on getting Chromia and Arcee earlier anyway), Sidearm Sideswipe looks odd with that flame-type deco and no rear lights, and Tuner Skids looks terrible.

But the PCC's are another story. They do seem Armada-like, what with the heavy emphasis on mini-cons, but I grew up with Armada so that's just more reason for me to love them. Leadfoot is an auto-buy because he can be a pseudo-classics version of G2 Leadfoot (among other awesome details), Icepick looks like a good figure, and I have no idea what the Hell Steamhammer is but if he looks good in hand I might get him, too.

 

Welp, there's another fifty bucks sold (allowing for tax). Hailstorm's a lock, and the PCC sets look even better than the first wave.

 

Really disappointed with Hasbro over that Elita-1. When Arcee got her own mold, I allowed myself to hope... So much for that. And really? White? With deep purple accents? Did they even watch the damn movie?

 

All but Tuner Skids for me.

Kind of strange about the Midnset redeco, huh? THey create a mold in homage to G2 Mindset (even colored as such), but then they call it something else. You'd assume it was a trademark thing, but then they go and plan a redeco using the original name. It's almost like they got the two mixed up or something.

 

More amusingly still the redeco in mindsets colours and with his name is an Autobot.

 

...it seems like leadfoot and sledge's minicons should trade names, maybe? then again... "chainclaw" the missle launcher... maybe he should have been a chainsaw with a name like that. whatever, they look awesome.


hailstorm and side(arm)swipe look snazzy. tuner skids' colors are a bit better than the original, I think... elita can bugger off though. hasbro can call me when they make a proper third bike sister.

 

Hailstorm looks particularly fine! He and Elita-1 are bought from this set for sure. The latter only because I want a biker-babe combiner. Sideswipe is a maybe; I am very much in two minds about him. Might have to see it in person to truly decide one way or the other.

Hailstorm is super-awesome, wish he'd been a Voyager but hey... pity the missiles aren't spring-loaded. How does Mindset differ? I take it there are no pics yet?

I predict Hailstorm being super-kitbashworthy. In fact I'm gonna stick WFC Megatron's head on him the second I get them both home.

 

The PCC figures look better than the first wave. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the new figures shown at Botcon that were not displayed and were not allowed to be photographed. Crossing Fingers for SDCC!

 

Definitely getting Sledge. Love that drill minicon.

 

Icepick and Sledge are a win for me, but not sure yet if i want PCC...

 

Hailstorm = instant buy and heavy damage

 

Hm...From the PCC series I only like the white truck. The racing car dude and the shovel guy..not my choices.

I might get Hailstorm, but none of the others. Tuner Skids will be hitting at about the right time to replace all the Tuner Mudflaps that'll disappear in a few months after hitting 75% off clearance.

 

hmmm...Elita-1 looks really bad , but Hailstorm looks very , very cool!if combined mode is ugly , I won't buy her. at least it would be purple , but now ....that yellow PCC looks kinda cool too
