I'm not sure why these would have priority release over the new molds like Blackout, Hydrodive Bumblebee, and Wingblade Optimus Prime, but I'll still happily buy both of them.

 

It seems retailers want repaints more.

 

wish mine would do that. everything here is still full price and they never sell. still wanna pick up the Skywarp, BB, Sentinel, Soundwave and Wasp they have

Thundercracker does look really nice, hope he's not too hard to get hold of.

 

Why is it so difficult for Hasbro or Retailers or whomever to give us dates on releases of these toys. Just tell me some time in May or some time in June and I'll be happy. I've seen reviews on Thundercracker last August. What's the hold up?

Maybe target will take them. They did just do universe leo prime even though there was no universe line running. Could do the same for animated. If toys r us wants to do all of the crazy repaints. vortex blurr, cybertron oil slick, Ironhide, and waspinator bumblebee. I'll be the sheep that buys them.

Thundercracker Would be a good base for a Animated Darkwing. So much sweet allspark blue.

I struggle to think of anyone outside the Starscream clones who actually got recoloured in the show.

 

Atomiic Lugnut made a very brief cameo. In the first part of the "human" themed story of season three. Electrostatic Soundwave is from the show. But you may count that as a new mold do to ratbat .
Shadow command megatron is vaguely based on how megatron is lit in first episode.


Putting the ANI season 3 dvd volume out to coincide with some of these repaints seems logical.

I will have that thundercracker. The big thing about this, though, is that it seems more likely at least some store will have a slot for these and blackout. If he were the only new thing in that line, I can't imagine seeing him in the stores. Even now, everyone is clearancing Animated. I wouldn't be shocked to see all three of them as TRU exclusives.

 

If I can still get my hands on Skywarp, then I'll get Thundercracker. Then, I'll finally have a set of the Seeker trio.

I'll skip on Bulky's repaint.
