Wow, Jazz looks a lot like a Silverstreak. I may get him for that.

E Soundwave is bought.

It almost feels like a tease how slow these few figures are coming out, why not do a whole case of new figures? (Then again, the delays make it easier on the wallet!)

The Freeway Jazz looks like a nifty Repaint, although not too keen on the Electrostatic Soundwave other than the Ratbat keytar.

 

For some reason just seeing the word "Keytar" on the package is almost enough to make me buy that Soundwave mold again.  

 

Well to be fair , the vast majority of Derrick's Transformer art we've seen are model-sheet drawings, which aren't in hyper-dynamic poses pretty much by definition.

 

Only Soundwave, I will just get Soundwave in the packaging, take out RatBat then reject the black Soundwave.

 

Oh, I know. Just to clarify, I wasn't casting any aspersions on Derrick's or anyone else's Animated renderings; just saying that the Marcelo Matere ones are invariably kickass.  

Also, I'm noticing a few people expressing shock or disappointment at Ratbat's appearance here. Am I missing something here? Haven't we known exactly what he was going to look like for about half a year, now? What's the big surprise?  

 

No past pic showed the full crappiness.

It was always in some angle that didn't make how ugly his face was clear, photoshopped promo etc. etc.

 

i want the ratbat but i dont want to get another soundwave.

 

I didn't even notice it said Keytar on the package, that might be enough for me to buy it  

 

I really hope the colors on Soundblaster and Ratbat don't look quite so washed out in person, and it's just a result of over exposed lighting. Cause these pics look horrible.
Otherwise, I can't wait to pick one up.

 

Well, that confirms it, I'm passing on Both Jazz figures, unless they're on clearance.

Electrostatic Soundwave = Animated Logos Prime
Blazing Lockdown = Animated The Fallen

I'd like it more if it was 2009-movie-style silver painted, instead of 2007-movie-style pearly gray plastic.

 

they where on here a month ago along with several other ROTF ones and even the winged Optimus prime from Animated another i would like to get
