Wow, that Natal/Kinect reveal event sounds like it was

The best write up so far was Destructoids:
"HERP DERP DERP LET'S SPEND ALL THE MONEY THAT HAS EVER BEEN PRINTED IN AMERICA SO WE CAN USE GAME JOURNALISTS AS UNWITTING ACCOMPLICES IN A RIDICULOUS MTV COMMERCIAL FOR OUR EYETOY! ALSO, CIRQUE DU SOLEIL!

    HERP DERP DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRP!"

I think Kinect is a terrible name, I get its intent but it just sounds so.....stupid. I just hope it (Kinect being a big "selling point" of Microsoft) doesn't plague and/or ruin future triple A titles.

Kinect? Sounds like a rejected name for those K'Nex toys.

I'm pretty busy at work but i might lunch at my desk and watch the videos later.
I bet I can get a Splinter Cell Elite on the cheap once the new model comes out.

I can't wait for news of the Microsoft Vitality Sensor! I just know its coming. EXCITE!

Kinect doesn't excite me very much as a 360 owner, quite frankly.

    Not with the games listed.

I know it might not be the most exciting idea for all, but I would love a Bladerunner/Snatcher type game with a Minority Report interface that has you waving your evidence around ala Heavy Rain. Add 3D support and Kinect sold.

As a MGS fan, I would have been more excited for Rising if it were a Star Wars game. Then again maybe not, Lucasrats has been horrible for years. Anyway, that game is more interesting looking than I thought it would be, but I still dont think it will be something I have to go out and buy immediately.
