    TRANSFORMERS Classic Deluxe: GRIMLOCK Figure
    [IMG][IMG]
GRIMLOCK keeps a collection of the parts he's torn off his DECEPTICON enemies. His super-thick ultramantium skin - in both robot and dinosaur mode - is coated in energy-absorbing materials, making him nearly impervious to damage. There are many who might say much the same thing about his mind. He is actually quite smart, but a programming flaw in his speech centers gives him only the most basic communications skills. He dislikes the weak, but is dedicated to the protection of those he views as lesser creatures. The only thing he hates more than weakness, in fact, is those who exploit the weak.

Amazing robot figure changes into detailed dino beast and back! Figure features a firing projectile and a tail that becomes a smashing whip!

    TRANSFORMERS Classic Deluxe: MIRAGE Figure
    [IMG][IMG]
Together with BUMBLEBEE, MIRAGE completes the AUTOBOT spy team. Where BUMBLEBEE focuses on information however, MIRAGE prefers sabotage. Smart and fast, he's always ready with a joke, even when the situation doesn't call for one. Though he is not totally dedicated to the cause, he cares deeply for his friends, and will do anything he can to protect them. His specialized electro-disruptor weapon can create complex illusions, and even allows him to turn invisible.

Amazing robot figure changes into detailed race car vehicle and back! The electro disruptor adds to the action!

I was right about Grimlocks shoulders. Anybody have these up for Preorder yet?

    I'm looking at you, BBTS.

That is quite possibly the best description of Grimlock I have EVER READ. Must sell blood for money!

    Sweet.

Hmmm, yeah, that Mirage bio doesn't bode well for Jazz.... unless they plan on re-casting him as another specialty.

Ah well, if the line does well and they keep it going, they could easily decide to do more figures than originally planned. It's not like a few words in a bio would stop them from releasing a new toy.

Hmmm, the Classics autobots seem to be divided between big, hulking leader types (Prime, Grimlock, Jetfire) and spies (Bumblebee and Mirage). I guess Hot Rod fits in the middle somewhere, but there seems a definite dearth of regular, mid-level 'bots. C'mon, where's Prowl, Ironhide, Ratchet, and the Lambo Bros. to fill the gap? :)

EDIT: Hey, Grimlock has a sword after all! It's just integrated into his gun. Did I miss that before in previous pics? Ah well.... either way, I'm glad it's there. He didn't seem right without one.

Grimlock's one of the few figures I really would've liked to have seen in a bigger size class. He needs to tower over the others.

You know, I'd pay an extra $5 per toy if they actually painted them the way they look in the official images. :peoples:

Since Classics is a filler line and the movie figures come out around June it is still possible. It's starting to look like Mirage and Grimlock could be wave 1.5 figures like Jetfire is listed at BigBadToyStore.com, maybe they will see release around November/December.

I like what was said in the Grimlock bio, but it flows kind of funny.

Despite his AMAZING bios, Grimlock still looks like a velociraptor to me. Me prefers T-Rex though. Would it help if Hasbro made him in Voyager size instead? :inquisiti

According to Mirage's bios, it was mentioned that he could turn "invisible" just like back in the old Gen 1 days. I wouldn't mind that ver. if Hasbro decides to give us a REPAINT. *Yeah Hasbro, I will give you my $$$ if you give me a semi-translucent Mirage in that order* :D

These look amazing. I'm sure as hell going to buy the entire line.
Anyways, can someone PLEASE explain to me what it is in Mirage's bio that will mean no Jazz for Transformers Classics?
I just can't seem to get it.
