They don't really look too bad, at least in bot modes. But I don't want them as my BW season 1 Primal and Megs. I do want the mini ships though... guess we'll see how badly I want them later on.

 

Definitely love these a lot more than the barely-changed-except-the-faces Takara 10th BW leaders. Though it does really bug me that they got the Predacon ship exactly right, but then made it GREEN. Still, bring 'em on, Hasbro!

I don't like Primal. I don't if it's because of the color scheme or the mold.
Megatron on the other hand it's a must buy.  

 

I want Megs definitely...don't know about Prime.

 

Primal's paint apps need a major overhaul... the mold itself looks *decent* but the colors just make it look horrible. That being said... I still prefer the BWR version.

Megatron, however, looks great. A very well done update!

 

Im gettin both acutally and rebuilding my BW universe but instead of G1, Im using the AEC universe. Or maybe the Neo G1 as a template. I cant wait.

 

I saw some digibash repaints of those two that made BOTH look amazing. Not that they fit into my BW at all right now, but I'm thinking I'm buying at least one of each to tear apart and make some Pre-Earth/Cybertron versions of those two characters. I might wait till the Don shows us just what the two of them looked like though.

 

I don't know why, but it feels like I want these guys more than I want Takara's show accurate versions. Should I be happy or sad?

I'll get him, but Primal really shouldn't be considered a BWX toy. Were it not for the robot head, he'd make a much better BMVII toy.

 

I don't care what the naysayers say, I think they both Primal and Megs ROCK! 

 

Optimus Primal Beast mode reminds me of them monkeys from Planet of the Apes.

 

Wow. I didn't think it was possible, but it really is...Primal gets worse with each new picture. Crapola Von Crap is what I shall dub him.

 

ONLY things I like about those are the ships.

 

Primal looks to be mis-transformed in a few areas, but otherwise looks neat. Megatron is the nicer of the two, though. I'm much more excited about these than Takara's cheap, low-effort re-releases of the old toys. A little vexing that we still don't have a name for the Predacon ship, but I can only imagine the cascade of internet whining if they had tried to name it anything.

 

they are both hideous...will not fall for the gimmick of the mini axelon and pred ship ....

 

Those are some nice looking toys. I'll definately be buying both.

So glad I passed on the lackluster takara reissues.
