Thanks to our good friend Bill of Bill's Toys and Games for pointing us to some new official in and out of package photos. So we have updated our Hasbro Photo Archive with the hi-res shots. Beast Wars 10th Anniversarry Optimus Primal and Megatron can be seen by Clicking Here. Ransack GTS and the Giant Planet Mini-Cons can be seen by Clicking Here.

Those two certainly seem to fill up the packaging more than the previous repaints in the line.

And a comic instead of the DVD.

For a moment I thought that meant that we might get the freebie in Canada this time - but it's probably in English only so that would be a no.

Is that one of the new BW comics?

All the links on the front page redirect back to the main site. Including the one to Bill's Toys and Games.

As for the figures themselves, Megatron looks great. Primal... Ugh. Just no.

BW Megs is "OK", but GOD I can't get to like that 10th anniversary Primal.

I still think Op's beast mode looks like a Monkey Pharaoh.

That Megs is pure love. Prime's ape mode is ugh, but I like the robot mode. Definitely getting a modern He-Man vibe from these two.

Good point (they're much bigger than Cheetor, Rhinox, etc.); although now I'm worried that the anticipated Hasbro 2 pack "Primal vs. Megatron" will feature these particluar toys as opposed to the Reborn Set. Hasbro's remolds don't even come close to the Takara set.

Nice! Hope I can find em in Canada at some point. And huzzah for some nice pack-ins. Beast Wars 1 comic, Jungle Planet Force Chips and mini ships. Nice job Hasbro.

What I want to know is what the deal is with Primal's surf board... why is it so huge? does it transform at all?
