Green Bay's offensive coordinator's son has been found dead:
Michael Philbin, found dead
Wow, what a way to end that report... The kid just died, and they had to toss in: "Oh, he was charged with sex with a younger person a few years ago..."
The worse thing is, alot of the places that have different articles keep throwing that little bit into it. Why not show some respect for the dead?
The local news here still hasn't confirmed it yet,but obviously it is him.
Damn that sucks, but what the hell was he doing out on that ice?
My condolences to the family.
Show respect to someone who doesn't deserve it? Alive or dead, he has charges of battery and sexing with kids? Let me show my respect. *opens fly*
I just read this on ESPN. That sucks. I find it hard to believe they actually canceled practice though.
Gotta keep in perspective that it says the child was over 16. The crime happened in 2008 and he died at 21, which means he was barely 18 when the crime occurred. So he was probably a senior and knocked boots with his sophmore or junior girlfriend and got caught doing it.
If he was an ACTUAL child molester, I could understand contempt to show any respect towards him ILoveDinobot, but that's clearly not the case here.
Well, if you read the actual criminal complaint (PDF), this guy wasn't necessarily a victim of circumstance.
It's besides the point, the father is going through a tough time now. I am sure that him seeing that all these news stories seem to end with a story about his crime from years ago, isn't helping. Not saying they should overlook his crime, it just doesn't need to be added to the fact he is dead. And his family is going through hell. I think they mean moreso respect for the father.
your thread title says he was found dead but they have to confirm the body found is his yet so your thread title however probable is incorrect
sorry, fixed it with a new one, they didn't update the other yet
He forced himself on two helpless girls when they were drunk.
Can't take the heat? Go freeze to death in a river.
