I think this may be one of my biggest gripes with the movie. Optimus has just killed Sentinel. The good guys are standing in front of the good ol' Stars and Stripes. Optimus' voice-over begins; he gives a little uplifting speech, and the movie is over... on the bridge. Now I didn't have a huge problem with the abrupt ending of the first movie, because it incorporated some different settings, and nicely set us up for a sequel. ROTF felt like it had a fairly satisfying ending. Optimus saved the day, and thanks Sam on the aircraft carrier, and sets us up for another sequel. In this one I felt like we should've gotten another five minutes, simply because this is the last movie before the highly probably reboot. I would have loved a eulogy for Ironhide, or see the Autobots in a character moment that better closes the franchise. Instead we got John Turturro making out with Frances McDormand in a wheelchair.
