Bigger Windcharger?

  1. Yes! Then their alt modes would be in scale! I never got the first one!

Given the demand for the Scout version, it got me thinking. Some of the Minibots are being made into Deluxe sizes and look fantastic (BB, Warpath, etc.) And I started to wonder if they would ever make a Deluxe Windcharger. Then those that missed out on the scout one can get him, his car would most likely be in better scale in terms of real cars, not G1-ness. I kinda want one myself, but also kinda don't cause I like his little one so much. Just wondering what everyone else was thinking.

Chances are pretty damn slim. Almost non existent.

I certainly hope so. I'd like all the cars to be in deluxe scale. The idea that "Minibots should stay mini, no exceptions" is absolutely ludicrous.

I think the perceived demand for Windcharger has more to do with limited supply than with him being a particularly interesting or popular character.

That was said about Warpath. I think he's got a nice chance... As an Autobot car (with a nice likeness of a Dodge Charger) he seems like a nice bet to be in future Generations waves.

I can pretty much assure you that it won't happen. But I wouldn't really mind it.

I think there's a fair chance Hasbro would be willing to revisit Windcharger for a future Deluxe line-up. Especially given the clusterfuck that distribution has been with the RTS Scout wave(s).

It's all pretty similar to Warpath actually, and I'd love to see them take this approach with Beachcomber in particular.

Hasbro may not. But, who knows maybe KOToys will give us an upsized Windcharger along with Tailgate and Wildrider re-decoes.

Unfortunately, Deluxe Windcharger won't be ready to go until the last wave of the next Classics cycle, and so will be at least as difficult and expensive to obtain as the Scout.

As much as I would like it, I agree with Wyvern. It's probably slim to none. Like most TF toyline that's at the end of it's run, there is one or two that people will scramble in looking for. Wincharger and Warpath is no different. It's only a fan demand due to it's limited release.

You guys have to look things at different perspective. Again some are thinking things as collectors and we are a small percent of sales. Hasbro and retailers look at things in whole. And kids and their parents have a lot more stroke than collectors.

That's true. I'd love a deluxe Windcharger. But I just don't see it happening. Warpath went from tiny toy to a deluxe. Windcharger is already a kinda deluxe sized. We'll see though. I hope I'm wrong.

No! No upsized Windchargers please. It wouldn't look good next to the other deluxes. It'd be too plain looking.

Why would they when their doing a KO Wildrider from Roddy? I'd just like them to make enough and actually get some to a damn store so I could buy one. That would be AWESOME.

LOL, because Windcharger totally rates two toys one size class apart in a span of two-three years.

Don't care. I don't have enough interest in the character to even be concerned about potentially missing the current Scout figure, let alone wanting the character redone as a Deluxe.

Though I do really like the Scout toy I wouldn't mind seeing a deluxe version down the road sometime. BUT There are a lot of characters I'd want to see get toys long before that happens.

I like the idea of scouts for the original Minibots.
