    Hi everyone,
I've been thinking (if you felt the Earth move, now you know why). We've got a G1 Prime voice changer helmet, much like the new movie one. What I'm wondering is, is this thing rare? I've not seen another. I've looked at Alpie's stuff, and best I can tell, she doesn't even have one. If there's enough interest, I'll throw up a pic. I'm just trying to gauge how rare it is. If it's as rare as its seeming, I might have to make the kids put it up. Thoughts?

    pics pics pics

If it's a G1 Optimus Prime helmet/voice changer and not the Movie Opitmus Prime helmet/voice changer then yeah i would say that's rare as i've never seen one. But i gotta see a pic, the curiousity is killing me.

I believe I remeber a VC walky-talky type thing from when I was a kid, but I don't seem to remeber seeing a helmet. I wouldn't mind seeing some pics.

EDIT: I'll give ya $3 for it unseen if you'll pic up the shipping lol

No, they didn't announce any such plans. They did, however, show us a prototype mockup from creating the movie one that was based on G1.

The only G1 voice changer helmet I saw was during th Hasbro tour at Botcon, and that was built within the production dept using a Darth Vader helmet as the basis, one of a kind I believe, it was not mass produced.

He could be referring to the helmet with the Cullen voice chip opposed to the generic voiced one

Sorry for the delay and bad pic, but here it is.

It does work. I don't have the battery cover for it, and the 'bot sticker on the other side came off last summer. Neat little piece. The new ones got me thinking about it.

Yeah, that definitely is a rarity/worth something.

Looks like it might be time to have the kids put it up eh?

Actually, it's been sitting on my headless Fort Max for a while now. It's about too small for my older son, whom is the only one really interested in it. It was also bought for him. I just wanted to share, since I'd not seen any others.
