Wings look a bit off and I agree the tops look better than the bottoms, but these are overall good and I'm in. Only the tiniest bit of imagination is required to see how these could be useful for a display where you have Laserbeak or Buzzsaw flying in for an attack run from a distance and having a larger, more posable version would be super helpful.

Model numbers and price? ETA?

 

Great tampos. I agree that i prefer my smaller MP birds, but would def be interested in steeljaw and ramhorn done this way, to go with jaguar.

I got their Ravage, but this is just ridiculous.

 

I think they are a touch too big for my collection. I like the MP laserbeak and buzz saw well enough. Don't need them to do more than what they are do.

Would love to see a better Rumble & Frenzy though... Those guys could use a couple months at the gym...

 

Yeah, as I'm afraid, just way too big for me personally. I'll skip Laserbeak and Buzzsaw, but if they do a Sundor variant (colored transparent resin/plastic?) I'll be game.

 

Looks good for my oversize Soundwave, too bad that did not happen.

 

It's like Soundwave is being talked down by his wife "OPERATION: "HUSBAND", STRATEGY: PRETEND TO LISTEN AND NOD"

yeah they're a bit weird, the long legs, the wing shapes, but hey no one else is doing anything like this so it will still be neat to have more "masterpiece" style cassettes.

 

Stupid inconsistent sizes... I guess he sometimes is this large.

I'm kinda bummed that it looks like the fact that the wings are two flaps sandwiched together may prevent getting good poses with the wings folded up in a perched position. I wish there were more pictures where they put more effort into posing him...

I haven't done enough research into the transformation of these but I would venture to say that the tampos are hidden by the transformation. Jaguar looked great because of the collapsed transformation but I think the tampos would have been an eyesore in jaguar mode. This is now the third rendition of a transformation sequence with each of these that get more complicated to achieve higher accuracy. Something has to give.
