Do you sometimes have temporary obsessions? Like, for a while, I would try to get all the Brave figures I could find. For another while it would be only high-end stuff (Yamato, CMS, etc.). Now, since I got Axalon Rhinox, all I want is a 10th anniversary Rhinox. Hell, I was willing to drive an hour yesterday to pick one up (didn't go though). Am I alone?

    The perfect answer... :lolol

Man all the time...if and that is a big "IF"...I had the funds to complete all my collecting obsessions I would never have enough room to store all of it...

Realistically for me...it's actually better IMO not to have it all...you appreciate and enjoy what you do have more so...

I hear that, defstar! I am scaling back and getting rid of lots of stuff. Gonna focus on my Primes, Megatrons, and my Insecticon/Arthropodicon army.

    Obsessions can be dangerus :lol
You always end up doing crazy, complicated deals on stuff that's not that necessary (that's what's makes it so much fun :D  )

I for example am obsessed with Soundwave, I was ready to kill for the cyb Version (luckily I didn't have to :lolol  )

I'm obsessed with clearanced Target Transformers.

When the 75% sale hits, I find myself driving to 10+ stores a day.

I have an obsession of buying ANY oddity with Jazz on it right now. Got a pedal car for England, I'm that desperate. :lol

Went through I NEED to get any TF radio phase for a bit and FINALLY managed to get a MISB Soundwave Tape Deck from Botcon last year that sort of satisfied me for awhile till I discovered more. Now, I need to get those. :lol

    Ah, another Jazz fan. Excellent.

Back on topic...all the time. I'll find myself focusing in on a certain TF or Joe figure and I do not stop until its mine. Then of course it gets here, goes on display, and I forget about it. :drunk

I have a full on, far from temporary obsession with action figures as a whole. I try to get all the TFs, all the GI Joes, all the Marvel figures, as many anime related things as I can, all the Spawn comic figures, DC stuff, Ninja Turltes, etc. Pure geekdom. They eat up all my income, and I have very little to begin with. It's pretty silly, but I just can't get enough plastic crack

Right now it's construction vehicle based transformers, so of course I'm just foamin' at the mouth for the Classics Devy to hit in my area. I talked to the lady that does the stocking in the toy area last night, she said that a new truck was coming in this morning and she would be putting it out tonight....so hopefully.

Also the more usual obsessions, Soundwave & cassettes, and Seekers (specificly Starscream)

Ordered my first two, and resisted ordering another three while shouting "WAIT UNTIL YOU'VE SEEN A FEW IN PERSON FOR CHRISSAKES" at myself.

I just opened it and I love it. Will my new addiction be BW figures? I feel the need to buy BWNeo Longrack again...

I've got an ongoing obsession like this for Webdiver figures. I think Classics left me with a need for something more unusual, which is a pretty good word to define the toyline.

My obsessions tend to be limited to the amount of space I have to work with. Actually makes things easier when I have to think of not just price, but how much space the object will take up.
