So I learned today there are 4 Autobot cassettes that turn into dinosaurs and combine. I found a few pics of them, but nothing good. Does anyone own these that has pics or know where I can find them? From what I've seen they're pretty cool, but I'd like a better view.

Sweet, thanks. I did look for them on ebay when I first saw them, and.... I can think of other uses for that kind of money.

Yeah, I found one of them earlier when I looked, he was like $500. It's ridiculous. Cool cassettes though, I wish they'd seen a release here.

Wow, they look terrible in combined and individual modes, poor even by late g1 standards. Seems like the only thing they have going for them is rarity.

I recently saw all four in near mint condition, complete with paperwork and packaging, listed individually on a non-eBay auction site. I stayed in the running until they passed around 120 bucks each. When I came back the next day, all four had gone for a collective price of over 2 grand.

I mostly just want them because I aim to own all the communicators and their cassettes. It's the only instance where I'm actually going for all the repaints, reissues, and redecos. At the moment, besides them, I'm only missing Howlback, Garboil, and Soundblaster.

wow, the combined mode really does look bad. It's okay from the front until you see that brick hanging off the back. It would be cool to see what they could do with these with today's technology.

I dunno its not the best toy ever but its a good idea and I would buy a reissue just for their novelty (fingers crossed with the encore sets it could happen)

Yeah, I have two of the headmasters. There's a few jap. exlcusive powermasters too, they're not worth as much though, I have one of them).
The dino cassettes and headmasters are definitely rarity over substance, but they're still neat (see second pic) and a good collector's item in that they are unlikely to get bootlegged or reissued (i.e. don't lose value; if you're paying that much for something you really want it to stay worth what you paid).

hehe, the pink on the back of the one does match Skullcruncher's pink. There's not too much else going for em though. Unless you like a tri-purple Apeface.
