Well, if Vista is as stable as XP, it may never crash. I've had XP on my machine since I bought it almost three and a half years ago. In that time, it's only crashed once, and that's because I ran as many processes as I could to see how much it could take. I've had programs lose stability and have to restart, but XP has never once crapped out on me. If the same effort went into Vista, I imagine that once most software companies release newer versions, there won't be many problems with that.
Anyone see this error yet. "There was an error displaying your previous error" Its one error window above a blank error window.
Thanks to the perks of being an engineering student and some wacky partnership my uni has with someone or other i can download Windows Vista Business version for free. Although i have no current plans to update to Vista, is there a time limit on serial codes? Because i'm tempted to download it and keep it till i need it one day. But if the associated serial code runs out after a while I won't bother...
I need a new computer, stupid motherboard is outdated, which boils my bacon, alas I need a big injection of cash beforehand
My soundcard isn't supored though everything else it coming up fine on the Vista checklist. Though I was thinking about updating at some point due to finding my home PC struggeling at point And I too need the big injection of cash.
I could use an injection of cash myself. I'd like to start building a new PC in the next few months, but we'll see how that goes.
