    Hasbro's is definately better for the early figures. The bubble just looks so classy, and the tech specs make a difference. I prefer Japanese for post-87 G1 though. Hasbro failed to re-invent their product, resulting in everything becoming a shadow of what had been released before. Also, Hasbro's boxes are bigger, and bigger is usually better IMO. The early mini-bots and cassette boxes were pretty cool though.
