Now that we're all done with these three movies, who is your absolute favourite Transformer? (not just design or alt mode but overall)

Mine is Sentinel. Great personality, great voice, alt mode fits perfect, design is amazing, motivations and character were fittingly evil yet still sympathetic to a degree, and he had the coolest weapons.

 

Um, if we indeed get a TF4, then the movieverse is not over yet

 

Um, sorry to say this but my gut says its not over.

 

The great Sentinel Prime of the planet Cybertron with the sneaky sadistic Laserbeak as a close second. Who knew that one of the smallest TFs would be the strongest. I mean he almost killed Sam. The guy who freaking killed Megatron and Starscream.

Even if another is made it's still not going to be part of this trilogy, otherwise, well, it won't be a trilogy. I never said that the movieverse is over. Not once.

But more importantly, THIS!^   Sentinel Prime followed by Laserbeak (and Optimus squished in the middle if I can). Everything about all three of those characters; their vehicle modes, their design, their voice actor, their character in general/contribution to the movies.

 

Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime by far.

The movie had relatively good writing and story. You didn't know what was going to happen next. And the part where the Autobot's ship was blown up and you think they're all dead? Brilliant!

And Optimus Prime's trailer making him basically OP as scrap? Epic!

Only thing: Ironhide dying (And please no one bitch about it).

 

Jetfire was pretty awesome. I wonder what he would've been like a thousand years ago.

 

Oh, I agree with Sentinel. He was truly a villain and not a 'rah! I'm a monster' or 'rah! I'm someone's bitch!'

The Wreckers are close second. Especially Leadfoot. That fat bastard...

 

Sentinel, Jetfire, or Ironhide. Can't decide.

 

I like leadfoot and his jiggly belly   next would be ratchet, then jolt

 

Can't give a simple one-name answer to this one, unfortunately.

Favorite Ongoing Characters (ie: appeared in all 3 movies)
- Bumblebee & Starscream tie - almost by default simply because they actually got shit done

Favorite G1-to-Movie Iteration (ie: design faithful)
- Shockwave

Overall Coolest Character
- Blackout

Most Memorable/Iconic Character
- Optimus Prime

 

Started out an Optimus fan, ended as one of Ironhide.

Tie between Jetfire and Sentinel: Jetfire is just solid awesomeness [to Abraham Lincoln levels of badassery] with an ABSURDLY over-the-top perfomance like cinema has never seen [Brian Blessed would be proud], and Sentinel for being the best anti-villain of the Transformer franchise, moral ambiguity in its finest, while remaining an excellent villain.

 

^This for me, except I ended up as a Starscream fangirl instead

Optimus and Ironhide by far......please don't ask me to choose only one!!!

I also have to throw Jazz into the mix too, since he's been my love for a VERY long time!

 

I agree, Sentinel is the best character.

 

I liked Sentinel's design, but found him to be too much of a jackass to like as a character.

And Optimus is always awesome, but he's the standard Optimus look and role so not much has changed.

So I'll have to go with Ironhide, who's new look and attitude I really enjoyed and made the character stand out. In G1 he always seemed like just another Optimus (having the same voice didn't hurt) but slightly british, triggerhappy, black armored Ironhide was a good change, and one I hope to see in later versions of the character.
