Yeah, that's definately something that needs to be addressed. The Autobots could still need the humans help (they got their asses handed during pretty much the entire war on Cybertron), just not as drastic as in RotF. But the humans should need the Autobots, as well.

Now, how would human military vs. Autobots end up? If renegade Autobots fight the militaries after refusing to leave Earth? That would be both huge and sad - with perhaps a major Autobot dying in the process. I'm thinking Ironhide, given his bad temper.

 

I swear, that would be THE coolest thing ever if Transformers actually existed. Autobots of course. I would love it more than anything if my mom and brother's cars were our guardians. It would be freaky at first when they first transform and I'd immediately ask in fear, "Are.....are y-you an Autobot or a D-D-Decepticon?!".
