Lord of the Rings, hands down. The effects are a little dated, but it's still a good story, and the characters are fantastic, as well as the music.

Probably LotR, thinking about it. I'm hoping the Hobbit can live up to it.

    Second is probably Pan's Labyrinth.

    Gotta say Star Wars.

    Original trilogy, then prequel trilogy.

Also, would Watchmen count as a fantasy?

POTC series, I think that would count. Not like fish people are real.
Jurassic Park trilogy, until a Dino is clone its still a fantasy.

My top fantasy movie is what I had in mind while reading The Dark Tower by Stephen King. Nothing can beat that, probably not even the real live action movie and television series when they're made :(  But time will tell.

And the other top fantasy movies are for me:
    Star Wars (Old Trilogy)
    Pirates of the Carribean
    LOTR

I am not going to lump fantasy and scifi together so here's my top 5:

    1) LotR trilogy
    2) Princess Bride
    3) Enchanted
    4) Pirates of the Carribean trilogy (haven't seen last one yet)
    5) Harry Potter saga (haven't seen the last 2 movies yet)

Walked out of "Return of the King" thinking, "This is the best movie I have ever seen".

Harry potter will always be number one to me! After that I have to go with Pirates of the Caribbean, then Eragon. Other than those I've never seen many fantasy movies... If they're based off books I always have to read the book first, which I don't always get around to. If I haven't read the book then I can't watch the movie. I don't know why, maybe I'm just weird.

Edit: Narnia too is pretty awesome. Especially the score "The Battle". That song is just epic!

those are my favourites from your list, also if you counted superman and ghostbusters as fantasy then I see no reason why I can't say thor is one of my favourite fantasies
