Is nearing its end what line is going to shine now???? I like the Classic line and hope it dose well. I just wonder if it will have the legs to go the distance that GF/Cybertron did?

It's not supposed to. It's just meant to fill the gap between Cybertron and the movie toyline.

I hope the classics' last until every G1 character has been remade. Hasbro should run this line with a cartoon AFTER the movie!

I was thinking the same thing.

God, i hope they don't do that. There's too much potential to have a "He-man" type disaster using all the same characters from the 80's... Nods are nice, but getting fanwanked in that way would be overdoing it.

After the movie, i'm seriously hoping that they do something a little different - something a little more creative.

My thoughts excactly... fanwanks & fannods aside (yeah, we all like them)... I'd like to see something closer to BW than not. Not neccessarily a reimagining of BW, but I mean something that's as drastically different as it was when it was released.

I just hope we don't go back towards Armada style designing. Some of those figures were way too Playskool-ish for me.

My worries stem from if Transformers ends up being a huge KID movie.

I was thinking the exact same thing. But I was hoping it would be something like Star Wars where there are the playskool toys, but still having the collector toys for the older fans.

Whatever happens with Classics (I think wave 1 looks spectacular, 2 sounds very promising, hoping they do at least a few more) I hope that the next main line does something different. Homages are fine, but I don't want them to just retread characters already done in Classics.
