Just a little fun poll to see which Arm of a Prime everyone thinks Megatron will steal!
It's either Alpha Trion or Solus "Man Hands" Prime.
My money's on A3.
Why make a thread for this when people are discussing this topic in other threads on the first page of this forum.
Liege should be Maximo, not Prime. Oops.
Alpha Trion because of the episode title and how it's purpleish/red. There isn't much better to guess without it being a random crapshoot.
I stand by the theory that only Solus Prime or one of her ancestors could wield the hammer.
Optimus was also quite pissed and shocked in the preview when he saw Megatron's new appendage. Other than the horror of tomb desecration, if that was Alpha Trion's arm he would rightly be enraged.
other than colors why do some think it's alpha trions arm attached to Megatron? alpha trion wasn't a prime.
In the TF Prime cartoon,Megatron states only a Prime can unlock & wield certain powerful weapons meant for a Prime.
Wouldn't it make more sense to try & steal an arm of Optimus Prime? You know, given that he's the only "Prime" on earth?
You saw the look on Meg's face; so long as Optimus is packing that godswordawesomeweaponthing, Megatron ain't gonna go near him.
Nah, better to steal a dead guy than fight the strongest Autobot.
So where does he find a dead guy on Earth? If he can somehow fix the space bridge, then wouldn't he have done it already?
Owait, I forgot what show we're watching.
Well, the promo shows
Dreadwing and Megs at Cybertron, unearthing a tomb of some sort
so I'd bet the space bridge gets fixed and, in light of Optimus' new advantages, Megs heads off to find a game-changer.
That'd sound about right, and looks to fit his character rather well.
In this new continuity, Alpha Trion IS a Prime, he's one of the original 13.
Though it was never stated that Alpha Trion was a Prime in G1, I can see why some would think he was. He rebuilds Orion Pax into Optimus Prime, who carries the Autobot Matrix of Leadership--where did it come from? Not only that, Optimus communes with the sage via the Matrix of Leadership, which is said to carry the wisdom of previous leaders.
For a guy who wasn't a Prime (if that were the case) he was very well connected way back when.
I want it to be the arm of one of the 2 we know nothing about.
But, it'll probably be Alpha Trion's
It's Just Sentinel Zeta Prime's arm not Alpha Trion's.
"Brand New, Never Before Seen" Prime.
Something new and different to TFP.
Wasn't it still working anyway, I don't remember it getting destroyed/damaged in 'Orion Pax Part 3'?
Exactly what I was thinking.
- Arm is red > Sentinel is (probably) red.
- Megatron would likely know where to find Sentinel's remains.
- Megs may have already had the arm as a trophy, and just dug up the rest of him for the lulz.
It'd be a bit daft if one of the original 13 were entombed in a random part of Cybertron for Megs to just dig up. Considering they're still considered 'mythical' because of the lack of evidence of their existance...besides the occasional mega-relic.
