Everyone needs to read Nova. Softcover TPBs are out for the first two storyarcs. Spoilers time! So, why this issue was such a cavalcade of fuckwin: -God damn Secret Invasion raping the character of Kl'rt after Annihilation- OH SHIT YES I KNEW HE WOULDN'T -From the cover: HOLY SHIT IT'S DARKHAWK!! -From halfway in: HOLY SHIT IT'S DARKHAWK!! -From 2/3s in: HOLY SHIT IT'S DR NECKER AND MINION!! -From the last page: HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT IT'S QUASAR!!! Nova does everything right. It's practically pointing and laughing at so many of the rest of the Marvel 616 titles. Read Nova. It is good.
Hmm... I was impressed by the SI issues so far, maybe I will grab a trade or two next week. I need to find some good Deadpool trades as well.
He was acting a liiiittle OOC, though it's easily passed off as panic from the sudden Skrullvasion. What I did like was how they got his -power level- correct. At one point he practically gets impaled, but after Nova drags him to another room he's back on his feet. And he is ZORTIN' Skrulls with his LAZERZ.
Good to hear that others are enjoying the title as much as I have. There's a oversized hard cover coming too which is a must buy for me...even though I bought all the single issues and replaced the first arc for the first TPB. Maybe my idea of binding the entire Darkhawk & or Quasar series isn't so off now.
