I got this from Derrick Wyatt's twitter: "Ugh. Whatever the fate of TFA is, NOTHING was changed at the end of season 3! Jeez, Kickback takes back a rumor people still latch on to it" Does that mean that there were no changes made to season 3 to edit out links to a potential season 4?????
It was s260's rumor. (although the two of them seem to be mostly interchangeable as far as information goes)
Actually, that doesn't matter. Even if stuff was changed, they could still revive Animated in the future. They'd just have to find different plotlines to start.
I'm very interested why people are not allowed to talk about the fact that it's canceled. Must be some serious contractual wrangling going on.
For all we know it isn't canceled, and the reason nothing official has been said about it's fat is that they could still be deciding on it, and don't want to put anything out there in case they go in a different direction. Either way, we at least know the toy line isn't canceled.
I posted in the SPOILERS thread awhile ago that S250 had said some scenes had changed or were deleted at the end of Season 3 and he thought that they were in correlation to the ending of Transformers Animated. Derrick contacted me and said that wasn't right, they were changed or removed due to time reasons, and I literally posted my correction like a post after my initial post.
Yeah I do remember Kickback saying they were purely for time. You guys' fault for not reading it. Anyway, about the "can't talk about it subject" It's probably because there's no confirmation of Season 4 coming after Season 3, so if it does/doesn't end at 3 they don't want to come off as liars. Also the fact that they could be still dealing stuff up.
I'm sorry I just saw the post on his Twitter and thought people should see it, I wasn't trying to blame anyone.
All I know is that I am going to watch the Fok out of this season and buy these toys. It's my way of saying, "You guys are doing a hellova job and I want more." No petitions, no ranting, just pure surrender to the order of merchandising to keep Bulkhead and co. on the air. Even if it doesn't make it to season 4, this show let Transformers breath after 4 shows of suffocation.
Now that I think about it, the climate was similar to this when JLU ended. CN must put people under some sort of gag order or something. I recall that it was pretty plain JLU was done but Bruce Timm and Co. weren't really allowed to say anything about it.
