what is it with me and my inferiority complex? :lol

well i figured it would be a good time to present my finished take on Jazz. some of you might know of the first version i did, while not wholly satisfactory for me, it was a learning experience, and on version 2.0 i think i did good making him look distinct enough from the Prowls, still not counting out a third attempt to get it looking just right....

special mention to hxcPunk23, and Wheel_Jack for inspiring the knee mods! proud in not being a partsformer! :D

waterslide decals by Amuro Mk II thanks again man!

Looks awesome, though I must admit, head does look smallish. Maybe a bigger visor too? Other than my silly nitpicking, dead on Jazz, love him bro!

Not bad. I think with the head it would've helped to have built up onto the Prowl headsculpt to create Jazz' head rather than cut away at it.

Also, I prefer my Jazz to remain a Porsche. It's possible to put more Porsche onto that 350Z mold, and I wish more people would work more at that.

Nothing I can really say against the quality of your craftmanship, you've got a really nice piece here. My gripes are really just about personal preference.

Thanks for the shout-out, man--glad to see we inspired your Jazz a bit! I really love these decals on this and the front end work looks great. It really helps steer this away from the Prowl look and more toward Jazz. I also like the head mods--I don't think it looks too small and it seems to fit in with the rest of the bot's proportions. I really need to get back to work on mine--been busy lately (and trying to start and finish up a few other projects all at once, AGAIN). lol

Keep up the great work, my friend!

i prefer my visor not to cover the nose. the head is an acceptable enough size to me, it's still the default prowl head. basically what puts it off is the enlarged hood chest. :)

@kouri: i think so too, but like i said, i'm not closed to giving this another shot. :D  i learned a lot from this hood, and pretty much know now what i should and should not do. man i should have stocked up on prowls....

@amuro: bro! i got a Decals commission to ask from you soon. ;)

@Brian: it'd be a crime against coolness if you don't finish yours! gonna send you something via airmail this weekend. ;)

Sounds great, Miko! I just need to focus on no more than 3 projects at a time (instead of the mountain I have in various forms of WIP). Still lovin' this custom, man. Jazz was always one of my favorites from G1.
